Diaverum are world leaders in hemophilia health care services.
Attending to our solutions and experience in health care services, Castan was selected by Diaverum Clinics to cover their haemodialysis clinics flooring. Our company had already executed unities in Almada, Estoril, Lisboa and Loures (Portugal).
Attending to our solutions and experience in health care services, Castan was selected by Diaverum Clinics to cover their haemodialysis clinics flooring. Our company had already executed unities in Almada, Estoril, Lisboa and Loures (Portugal).
The systems applied in these Clinics take into consideration the best practices in health care buildings such as licensing requirements and facility management.
Known for their longevity and high quality finishing level, our systems stand out by its sanitization and great ease of cleaning (continuing flooring without joins including integrated curved skirtings) as also its excelent safety conditions (thin pavement texture).

TERRAZZOSonae Sierra selected Castan for Terrazzo Pavements Maintenance and Restoration
Damages on the pavement constrained the treatment and consolidation of the Terrazzo pavement foundation followed by partial reconstruction of the original Terrazzo drawings and layout.
Castan expertise in Terrazzo systems and the involvement of Sonae Sierra allowed the Parque Atlântico Shopping pavement to get back its original sofistication and durability.

DECOCEMENTHigh quality project in Estoril, PT, with Decocement premium system
Decocement Standard with Wax Gold & Copper premium system was the chosen system to cover a counter and surrounding areas at a Gourmet Tasting Area in Estoril, PT.
By combining gold and cooper shinny metal wax with lacquered varnish Decofinish Vitro, Castan was able to obtain an interesting and glamorous result.

DECOCEMENTPrivate Villa
The renovation of this premium Villa located in Cascais involved the execution of broad set of interior and exterior DECOCEMENT decorative covering systems.
Decocement Country (white) was used for the exterior areas.
The Traffic system was applied in the kitchen and in the cellar areas. The color was customized to meet specific client preferences.
Decocement Aqua (lead grey) was elected to cover the decorative water pond located inside the house.
This project highlights the quality and security delivered by Castan in the context of high end Architectural & Design projects.

TECHNICALEpic Sana Luanda Hotel
The Sana Group selected Castan to deliver its continuous flooring solutions for the Epic Sana Luanda Hotel, a five stars hotel located in the country’s capital.
The project was executed in two months and contemplated the Parking Areas (CastanFloor Ultra EP) and the Kitchens (CastanFloor Ultra EP Color Antislip), totaling an area of approximately 6000 square meters.
Through this project Castan evidences the Company’s ability to deliver high quality covering solutions for large scale projects located in the African Continent.

PARKAlcabideche Social Complex
The Alcabideche Social Complex designed by Guedes Cruz Arquitectos was distinguished by the jury and public with the 2014 Architizer Award 2014 in the Health & Government Building category.
Since this multi-residence housing complex was designed to host senior residents, characteristics like security and comfort were crucial when assessing the most suitable flooring solution.
PARK SAFE SURFACE system was chosen for the Project’s exterior areas and pedestrian paths because of its anti-slip, elastic and impact absorption properties. Moreover, this pavement has water draining capabilities, which makes it eco-friendly by reducing the soil impermeability effect imposed by today’s massive concrete surfaces typically present at most Metropolitan areas.

The iconic Hotel Baía Cascais located right across the beach at the Cascais Bay recently started a multi-phase renovation Project.
CASTAN was the trustworthy partner chosen by the general contractor 2Concept to remodel the bathroom’s floor and walls with an exclusive decorative cement covering.
CASTAN DECOCEMENT is a seamless decorative covering system that has a modern and natural look allied to important benefits such as water impermeability and hygiene.

TERRAZZO CLASSICTerra Nostra Graden hotel, São Miguel, Azores
A CASTAN participated in the project of the renovation of the Terra Nostra Garden Hotel, located in the magnificent and exotic Terra Nostra Park, considered one of the best 10 «Green Retreats» of the World.
This project contemplated the installation of a CASTANFLOOR TERRAZZO high traffic decorative pavement, which was personalized in order to closely match the local rock Olivina, and in this way reinforcing one of the base concepts of the hotel. This CASTAN covering solution highlights Azorean natural resources excellence and diversity, while prioritizing their preservation.
Terra Nostra Garden Hotel renovation project maintained the original Art Déco architecture and interior decoration concept which was further enhanced with the introduction of contemporaries materials such as CASTANFLOOR TERRAZZO. In the end the client will have an exquisite mixture of comfort, wellbeing and exclusivity embraced by the luxurious surrounding nature.
